RAM Brews Win at 12th Annual Beer Awards
The Ram Restaurant and Brewery was recognized by the North American Brewers Association at their 12th annual beer awards in Idaho Falls, Idaho on June 6. Beers from across the nation were awarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals in each of 27 categories.
The Ram won nine medals for their hand-crafted beers from its Washington, Idaho and Oregon locations. They were also honored for their active participation and contribution to the North American Beer Awards and the Mountain Brewers Beer Fest in the past couple years.
The Ram was awarded Gold medals for two brews including the “Clearwater Kolsh” and the “Dubbel Barrel Belgian Ale” which were both brewed in Boise, Idaho.
Silver medals were awarded to three Ram brews; the “Bottle Rocket Lager” from Boise, Idaho, the “Big Horn Hefeweizen” from Salem, Ore. and the “O>D>L Biere de Garde” from Tacoma, Wash.
Bronze medals awarded to Ram brews include the “Keg Monkey’s Irish Red Ale” from Salem, Ore., the “71 Pale Ale” and the “Belgian White” both from the Northgate location in Seattle, Wash. and the “Ram Mai Bock” brewed at the Clackamas location in Happy Valley, Ore.
The Ram Restaurant and Brewery brews its’ own ales and lagers at each of their locations. Hand-crafted beers such as the “Big Horn Hefeweizen” and the “71 Pale Ale” are featured year-round on the Ram menu, while other brews are considered “seasonal” and alternate on the taps throughout the year.
Brewing medal-winning ales and lagers, the company has been recognized by the Great American Beer Festival with nearly 30 awards in the past 11 years in addition to numerous World Beer Cup accolades.
The Ram Restaurant and Brewery is a family-owned-and-operated business headquartered in Lakewood, Wash. Established in 1971, the Ram has 29 locations throughout seven states.
