Celebrate Spring at The Ram with a Mai Bock Brew Available Wednesday, April 15th
The Ram Restaurant and Brewery is celebrating the arrival of spring with the release of our widely popular Mai Bock Beer. The arrival of spring is heralded by the return of the Goat-MAIBOCK! Debate continues as to the origins of the name… Was it after the town of Einbeck in Germany or a variation on the German work (and recognized symbol of the style) the Goat? Regardless, the name has come to signify one of our most popular seasonal selections. This lager is fermented cold and patiently aged (lagered) at near freezing temperatures to achieve a smooth and immensely satisfying profile. Crisp, clean and golden in color, our Maibock is brewed in the esteemed German Helles style. Over the years we have been fortunate to receive numerous awards for our brewers’ interpretations of the style:
