New RAM Restaurant and Brewery Opens at Clackamas

The RAM Restaurant and Brewery has opened its newest location in Happy Valley at Clackamas Town Center.

Family owned and operated, the RAM Restaurant and Brewery is famous for Quality food, award-winning beverages and hand-craft brewed ales and lagers. The RAM menu boasts flavorful char-grilled steaks, succulent wild salmon specialties, BBQ Ribs, crisp and fresh salads as well as many sandwich choices and dessert options including their famous Mile High Mud Pie.

“We are very excited for the new RAM Restaurant and Brewery in Clackmas and everything it has to offer our customers,” says Dean Tessler, Regional Manager for the new Clackamas location. “We have tall open ceilings and a wide open floor plan that gives us lots of flexibility with regard to seating small and medium sized groups. There are great murals on two of the walls that highlight some of Oregon’s history. There are also plenty of places to watch your favorite game on the big screen and the many full HD Plasma TV’s that are visible from any seat.”

Another aspect of the new restaurant guests will appreciate is the large brewery that is showcased within the restaurant itself and the staff’s overall enthusiasm for its own craft-brewed beers.

Jeremy Bordé, Head Brewer for the new location, has been a brewer with The RAM for over 10 years at the Salem location and is very excited to have made the move to the Clackamas RAM.

“Our leadership team is very into beer and enjoys many of our Big Horn brews, such as the Big Red IPA as well as our seasonal beers, on a regular basis,” says Bordé. “My goal at the Clackamas RAM is that each batch of every beer I brew is better than the last and that we become the place to visit for excellent, high-quality, hand-craft beer, great food and good times.”

The RAM Restaurant and Brewery proudly brews its own ales and lagers on the premises of each of their locations. Many of the RAM’s food selections are prepared with these brews including their popular Brewers Steak Sirloin, Big Red BBQ Ribs, Total Disorder Porter Black Angus USDA Prime Burger and the Lemon Hefeweizen Chicken. Locally brewed and nationally recognized, The RAM’s ales and lagers have won 29 medals in the past 11 years at The Great American Beer Festival and 7 Awards in World Beer Cup competitions. Bigger, Better and Fresher is more than a slogan for these brews, it is the RAM’s promise for quality, consistency and drink-ability.

The RAM’s Clackamas Restaurant and Brewery is their 3rd casual dining location in Oregon. All are known for being great places for family dining, business luncheons, after work relaxation, watching the “Big Game” and late night fun.

The new RAM Restaurant and Brewery is located in the Clackamas Town Center in the brand new West Village on the East side of Portland off Exit 14 (Sunnyside Road) on I-205 in the Southwest corner of the mall property near Sears.
